We thought about buying a pug for many years.
In 2003 we felt we were in a position to take on the responsibility of owning a dog.

After a lot of searching to find a suitable pup we were pleased to get Sassi in December of 2003. Originally we bought her as a family pet but after a comment made by a friend we started to attend our local ringcraft classes with the intention of entering her for a couple of shows.

Her first show was the Scottish Pug Dog Club's Championship Show in Haddington, April 2004, where she qualified for Crufts 2005. We were then smitten with the showing bug and have enjoyed it ever since.

Minni arrived with us in July 2004, firstly as a companion for Sassi and also to extend our involvement in showing.

We have made a lot of friends and thoroughly enjoy attending shows. There is a lot to learn about showing dogs but we are keen and hope to be around the show circuit for a long time to come.
